June to November 2025: This issue highlights an intersection of diverse areas, topics, disciplines, and experiences. We open with an article that adapts a concept from the field of biology—chimerism—to the realm of social sciences. Building on this notion, the authors develop a philosophical and theoretical proposal to rethink identity conflicts within nation-states and contemporary nationalist agendas. Alongside this essayistic and transdisciplinary approach, a qualitative study is presented that explores the perceptions, fears, expectations, and ethical stances of secondary school teachers regarding the integration of artificial intelligence in the classroom. The article contrasts the initial enthusiasm for technological advantages with the risks posed by its unregulated use, particularly in terms of critical thinking, professional autonomy, and educational justice.
